Petzl – Kid’s Body Shoulder Straps – Chest Harness

The Kid’s Body Shoulder Straps were designed for wear with a standard sport climbing harness. Because children’s centre of gravity is higher than that of adults, they often have trouble keeping their balance when climbing. A climbing harness on its own doesn’t always provide sufficient support, especially when it comes to small and particularly thin children. This is where the Body comes in. The two buckles allow you to adjust the straps to your child’s body quickly and easily. When combined with a climbing harness, the shoulder straps provide added support and stability, preventing the child from flipping over during a fall.
