If you’re looking for a lightweight and reliable quickdraw, the Phantom Quickdraw from DMM is a solid option. This quickdraw comes with a slightly longer sling and is just as well suited for alpine climbing as it is for sport climbing. It allows you to guide the rope a bit better to reduce friction when climbing around corners or ledges. For less weight and additional safety, the carabiners are equipped with wire gates. The lower carabiner is colour coded so that you always know which side you’re using for ropes or protection.
