The Boreal Alpha is great for beginning climbers. If you climb a lot in the climbing gym and like to do a bit of bouldering afterwards, or are just looking for a climbing shoe for long training sessions, this is the one for you.
The upper is made of a blend of microfibers and synthetic leather with two hook-and-loop buckles. The CHS (Cushioned Heel System) cushioning really cradles the heel and makes the shoe comfortable to wear over long periods. The Boreal Zenith sole is intentionally somewhat harder and will provide excellent grip and durability. As a result of the somewhat asymmetrical shape and the half stiff midsole, the shoe will give you the comfort and surefootedness you need. Plus, this may be allow you to wear the size you would usually wear in casual shoes. The Alpha is perfect for all-day use and for you climbers out there who value comfort whilst climbing indoors.
