Black Diamond – Venom Adze – Ice Axe

This ice axe allows you to swap out the pick for your choice of a ice climbing pick or more of a mountaineering pick, which increases the lifespan of the tool. The slightly curved upper shaft made of lightweight yet strong aluminium is made for extremely steep terrain (over 35° grade). What’s more, it features an adjustable pommel, which serves to take the strain off of your forearms.
The steel pick comes with an adze, which has many uses, such as digging snow anchors and step cutting. Thanks to the moulded grip, the ice axe will feel great in your hand. Of course, there is a spike at the bottom of the shaft as well, which will support you when using the axe as a walking stick.
